Advanced visualization and PACS firm Visage Imaging has unveiled version 7.1 of its Visage enterprise imaging platform.
Visage 7.1 includes new features aimed at providing improvements in usability, performance, and enterprise-wide administration, according to the vendor. For example, a new integrated update mechanism allows end users to receive one-click, seamless updates for future client releases, Visage said.
The new release also provides native support for 64-bit Windows systems and improved logging and auditing functionality, the company said. User management has also been streamlined via Active Directory, Integrated Windows Authentication, and lightweight directory access protocol (LDAP).
Visage said it has also improved prefetch flexibility with more configurability and support for prefetch from multiple DICOM nodes. In addition, the software's online help is now available in German.
