3D imaging technology start-up Vayyar Imaging has received $22 million in a series B funding round and has now raised total capital of $34 million.
Vayyar has developed sensor technology based on low-power radiofrequency transmissions. The sensors can see through skin and tissue to detect breast or other cancer masses, look through walls to detect structural foundations, and track a person's location and vital signs as they move through a smart home, according to the company.
The latest funding round was led by Walden Riverwood. Battery Ventures, which led the Series A round, also participated in the Series B round, along with existing investors such as Bessemer Venture Partners, Israel Cleantech Ventures, and Amiti Ventures.
Vayyar said it would use the funds to scale up its enterprise offering around the world.
