(Booth 1316) Canadian software firm Cedara Software of Mississauga, Ontario, will showcase its line of development tools for medical imaging OEMs in its booth at this year's RSNA conference in Chicago.
The company's Advanced Imaging Solutions business includes libraries and tools for functions such as advanced segmentation, in which companies can develop applications for lesion contouring and mammography skin line detection. For digital x-ray optimization, Cedara is offering image enhancement, shutter detection and removal, autostitching, and optimum window display. Other tools are also available for image registration and fusion, as well as server-side image rendering.
Cedara will also highlight its Cedara Clinical Control Center (C4), a framework for integrating applications from multiple vendors into a single RIS/PACS environment. OEMs can use C4 as their plug-in model to improve integration and shorten the software development cycle.
Cedara will demonstrate a number of applications that have been C4-enabled, which means they are easily integrated into C4 hosts such as PACS, RIS, or HIS networks. These include the company's I-ReadMammo, I-Response C4, OrthoWorks ProPlanner, PET/CT C4, B-CAD, and Biotronics3D applications.
Finally, Cedara Development Tools are Cedara platforms and toolkits like the company's OpenEyes programming model and MergeCOM3 toolkit for developing DICOM-compliant software.
