(Booth 2591) Visage was formed earlier this year as a subsidiary of Mercury Computer Systems, and the Carlsbad, CA, company will introduce itself to RSNA attendees by demonstrating a new release of its software for analyzing cardiac CT images.
Based on thin-client architecture, Visage CS Cardiac Analysis is designed to enable the sharing of data and applications throughout a healthcare enterprise. The new release includes tools such as calcium scoring, myocardial segmentation, and wall thickening computation, as well as better tools for reporting and manual editing.
The software features analysis of coronary artery and multiphase CT data to assess left ventricle function. The application computes functional parameters such as ventricle volumetry and wall motion, and displays data in compliance with the American Heart Association's bull's-eye representation.
The software is expected to be commercially available in the U.S. and internationally in the first quarter of 2008.
