(Booth 4077) CorTechs Labs of La Jolla, CA, develops technology for assessing MR images of the brain for signs of neurodegenerative disease, and at this year's RSNA show the company will highlight its NeuroQuant software.
NeuroQuant is designed to quantify regional brain atrophy in patients with neurodegenerative disorders, and includes tools that automate neurological analysis and reporting at physician desktops. It also includes automatic correction for image artifacts, atlas-based regional segmentation and volumetric quantification of the hippocampus and other structures, and output of age-related atrophy reports as well as numerical and color-blended volumes annotated with graphical overlays in DICOM-compliant format.
NeuroQuant is compatible with 1.5- and 3-tesla T1-weighted brain MR images, and has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance. The product began shipping in the U.S. and internationally in September.
