The RSNA and the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) plan to partner on once again hosting the National Imaging Informatics Course-Radiology (NIIC-RAD).
The course will be held September 18 through 22. It provides imaging informatics education to trainees, practicing radiologists, and other professionals around the world, the RSNA said; this event will be the 13th session of the course, said Tessa Cook, MD, PhD, in an RSNA statement. Cook developed the course with Nabile Safdar, MD, PhD; Katherine Andriole, PhD; Michael Recht, MD; and J. Raym Geis, MD.
"What started as a small cohort of U.S.-based radiology residents learning the fundamentals of imaging informatics has grown to an international educational experience for radiologists, pathologists, data scientists and researchers at all levels," Cook said.
Those interested in participating in the course can register here.
