Canon Medical Systems USA has signed a strategic partnership deal with enterprise imaging firm ScImage in an initiative aimed at increasing its presence in the cardiac market.
Specifically, the partnership will broaden and advance Canon's outreach in hemodynamics via its subsidiary Fysicon's Qmapp Hemo portfolio, according to the vendors. Mounted to a standard interventional x-ray system or operating table, Qmapp Hemo provides hemodynamic monitoring.
With the collaboration and the cloud platform developed in collaboration with ScImage, Canon said it plans to offer technology and business models tailored to each client's specific needs.
