GE Medical Systems of Waukesha, WI, and IT consulting firm Healthlink of Houston have signed a deal to offer Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) solutions to practices facing compliance issues with the act.
The firms will offer HIPAA assessment services to institutions throughout the U.S. GE plans to offer clients Six Sigma-based solutions to regulation implementation, according Joseph Hogan, president and CEO of GE Medical Systems.
