Radiology informatics firm Aycan Medical Systems has installed four of its x-ray paper printers at Desert Radiologists' diagnostic imaging facilities in Las Vegas.
Aycan xray-print prints images on plain paper in color or black and white at less than 10¢ per sheet, according to the firm. Customers replacing film with paper also save money by eliminating expenses associated with the special handling, storage, and transportation of film, Aycan said.
