Boston Scientific is launching its Embold Soft and Packing coils for minimally invasive peripheral embolization procedures.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) cleared the coils in June. Embold coils contain a delivery mechanism that allows users to detach the coil easily. They are made of nitinol to prevent kinking, the company said.
