The American College of Radiology (ACR) has bestowed its 2018 William T. Thorwarth Award on Dr. Geraldine McGinty, vice chair of the ACR Board of Chancellors.
The Thorwarth Award recognizes individuals who demonstrate outstanding contributions to the field of health policy and economics for radiology, according to the ACR. McGinty, a practicing radiologist in New York City and a faculty member at Weill Cornell Medicine, will receive the award on May 21 at the ACR's annual meeting in Washington, DC.
