The RSNA has launched an innovation drive called RSNA Ventures.
The initiative is intended to support innovation in radiology and imaging technologies, and will "identify and accelerate ... ideas that enhance the practice of radiology, improve patient care and advance the field of medical imaging," the society said.
It will work independently or through partnerships with startups, academic institutions, industry leaders, and investors to "develop new technologies, leverage the power of AI [and] address barriers in care delivery," according to the RSNA.
"We see RSNA Ventures as a launchpad -- not just for new ideas, but for meaningful impact," said RSNA chair Jeffrey Klein, MD, in a statement.
