The RSNA has opened up registration to the 2021 edition of its annual conference, scheduled to be held at McCormick Place in Chicago from November 28 to December 2.
The upcoming meeting will be held under the slogan "Redefining Radiology," and it will be headed by RSNA President Dr. Mary Mahoney. The group expects over 2,000 presenters and 300 live educational courses, as well as 518 confirmed exhibitors.
RSNA 2020 was held as a virtual event due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic. But healthcare conferences have begun returning as destination events, including AHRA 2021 in Nashville August 1-4, the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) meeting August 9-13 in Las Vegas, and the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) conference October 24-27.
The RSNA said it would continue to hold a virtual component of the meeting to allow those who are affected by travel restrictions to participate. Registration is available on the RSNA's website.
