Ultrasound developer Longport of Swarthmore, PA, has sold nine of its LDS-1 ultrasound scanners to U.S. Medical Systems, a development-stage marketing and distributing organization.
The purchase is part of a memorandum of understanding between the two companies, which outlines a potential expanded LDS-1 distribution role for U.S. Medical, according to U.S. Medical parent Prime Rate Income & Dividend Enterprises of Denver.
