(Booth 8342) At this year's RSNA meeting, Carestream Health of Rochester, NY, will display its work-in-progress DirectView CR Mammography feature, which enables users of the company's computed radiography (CR) technology to conduct mammography exams.
The feature adds mammography and computer-aided detection (CAD) applications to its Kodak DirectView Classic and Elite CR systems, as well as its Kodak DirectView 850, Kodak DirectView 950, and Kodak DirectView 975 units. Carestream's CAD and full-field digital mammography for CR are currently available outside the U.S. while the products await U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance.
Carestream also will highlight mammography-specific functions for its Carestream PACS and Carestream RIS, and the company will show a multimodality breast imaging workstation and laser imagers.
