Molecular imaging system developer Gamma Medica-Ideas of Northridge, CA, said that it has successfully completed a private equity placement of 45.6 million Norwegian Kronor ($7.1 million U.S.).
The company, which earlier this summer merged with Ideas of Oslo, Norway, said that approximately 1.2 million new shares were issued in the private placement and that the financing included participation by some of the biggest institutional investors in Norway.
