Nuclear medicine vendor Digirad reported fiscal 2005 third-quarter revenues of $17.4 million, up slightly compared with the $17.2 million turned in for the third quarter of 2004.
For the period (end-September 30), the Poway, CA-based vendor had a net loss of $2.8 million, a sharp downturn compared with net income of $386,000 a year ago.
The company, which attributed fiscal 2005 second-quarter losses primarily to vacancies in its sales organization and disruptions in sales activities, said that it had completed the rebuilding of its core sales management team with the hiring of three regional sales directors during the third quarter.
