Radiopharmaceutical developer Eastern Isotopes of Sterling, VA, has acquired Cleveland-based Cyclo-Tech, a producer of PET radiopharmaceuticals.
The acquisition increases the company's network of cyclotrons in the U.S. to 18. Eastern Isotopes is a subsidiary of Ion Beam Applications (IBA) of Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, which is also building cyclotrons in Europe and Asia.
Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
