MRI accessories developer IRadimed said its earnings fell in the third quarter of 2016 (end-September 30), compared with the same period a year ago, but revenue and earnings came in above a revised guidance issued earlier this month.
For the third quarter, IRadimed reported revenue of $7.7 million, down 6% from $8.2 million in the third quarter of 2015. Net income for the quarter was $1.6 million, compared with $1.9 million in the third quarter of 2015.
The company said that bookings have continued along recent trends, reflecting consistently strong interest in its pump systems from hospital departments.
