Agfa has announced that its Agfa Imaging Solutions North America division recently appointed Scott Evers as senior vice president and North American business leader.
Evers has over 28 years of experience in medical imaging, starting in 1994 as a sales representative for CompuRAD, the developer of the first commercially available teleradiology software. CompuRAD later was acquired by Lumisys, where Evers as vice president of sales helped build a dealer network until that company was acquired by Eastman Kodak, which later evolved into Carestream.
Evers also held leadership roles such as vice president of sales for value tier and channel for Carestream; and before that, Evers founded software developer Genesis Digital Imaging. He was also vice president of sales for AuntMinnie.com and Orex.
