(Booth 4174) New features for its MIM 4.1 advanced visualization software will be the featured highlight in the booth of MIMvista, a Cleveland-based software developer.
The new release includes an automatic deformable contouring feature, called MIMcontouring Advanced, using the company's VoxAlign Deformation Engine, which provides automatic atlas-based deformable contouring, adaptive recontouring, and therapy response tools. The software is PC-based and can help automate multistep processes.
MIM 4.1 is designed for applications in radiation therapy contouring, surgical guidance for epilepsy, and tracking therapy response. The version has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and will be available in the U.S. and internationally in the first quarter of 2008.
