IBM Watson Health is highlighting collaborations for its artificial intelligence (AI) software at RSNA 2019.
In June, Hardin Memorial Health (HMH) in central Kentucky became the first provider to use IBM Watson Imaging Patient Synopsis, which provides a summary view of patients through analytics and extracts insights from patient records to uncover underlying issues.
Clinical Review 3.0 recently launched in the U.K. The software is designed to analyze medical imaging studies and their associated reports to identify potential missed findings to facilitate more comprehensive reports, which can potentially lead to higher-quality care.
IBM Watson Health also signed with Fortrus to leverage the reseller's strong relationship with the U.K. public sector, which includes a single supplier outcome-based managed services framework.
Also in the U.K., teleradiology network 4ways Healthcare adopted IBM Watson's Merge PACS 8.0.
In other IBM news, the firm launched its AI Marketplace, a single-source software designed to simplify locating, purchasing, deploying, and managing AI imaging applications. The Imaging AI Marketplace is carefully curated and contains only U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-cleared software alongside Watson Health developed AI technology. It can be accessed via the iConnect Enterprise Archive, IBM said.
Other vendor partners include Circle Cardiovascular Imaging, DiA Imaging Analysis, MaxQ AI, Quantib, and VIDA LungPrint.
