RSNA names editor for new open access journal, Radiology Advances

The RSNA has named Susanna Lee, MD, PhD, of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston as editor of the society's new open-access journal, Radiology Advances.

Lee is chief of women's imaging and associate professor of radiology at Harvard Medical School. She specializes in abdominal radiology, the RSNA said. She was born in Seoul, South Korea, and earned her medical and doctorate degrees from Yale University in New Haven, CT. She has chaired gynecology trials for the American College of Radiology Imaging Network (ACRIN), the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG)-ACRIN. She served as the National Cancer Institute and ACRIN representative on the Gynecologic Cancer International Trials Group from 2009 to 2016.

She has co-authored two books and authored or co-authored 77 peer-reviewed research investigation and scholarship articles and more than 40 book chapters, reviews, monographs, and editorials, according to the RSNA. Lee is currently deputy editor of Radiology and editor of Radiology In Training.
