The Medical Imaging and Data Resource Center (MIDRC) has published more than 100,000 anonymized COVID-19 imaging studies, according to the RSNA.

The MIDRC is an open platform hosted by the University of Chicago that provides data for research. It is funded by the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) and led by a consortium of the University of Chicago, the RSNA, the American College of Radiology (ACR), and the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM).

"MIDRC is a massive, curated, diverse, multi-institutional imaging dataset that enables new insights about the diagnosis and prediction of COVID-19 infection, its complications and its outcomes," said RSNA board chair Dr. Curtis Langlotz, PhD, said in a statement released by the association. "We are realizing the benefits of new algorithms and the resulting innovations in machine learning."
