Clinical:

The infection presumably occurs during delivery and infants present between 4 to 12 weeks of age with a staccato cough. Patients may have a prodrome with conjunctivitis/rhinitis. The CXR demonstrates hyperaeration, increased interstitial marking with peribronchial cuffing, and patchy acinar opacities.
